CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

FOR UTAH LICENSEES

To search CE courses held at the Board Office, CLICK HERE.

The Washington County Board of REALTORS® will make its office available for Education and Continuing Education Courses, as long as the schedule permits, during regular business hours. Use of Association facilities for education purposes may be scheduled by the members, including Brokerages & Affiliate members, with advanced notice. All CE courses offered by the Association are FREE to active members, with the exception of designation & specialty courses. If there is a cost associated with a course, it will be posted.

When taking CE courses at the Association office, please remember the following:

  • Early registration is strongly encouraged, as seating is limited (max attendance is 90).
  • Payment (if required) and registration must both be received in order to reserve your seat.

The WCBR encourages education in addition to the required hours set by the Division to improve knowledge of our industry. Agents should keep in mind that there may be a delay when uploading completed CE hours to the Utah Division of Real Estate. Therefore, the Division recommends completing all CE no later than the 15th of the month that your license is set to expire.  You will not be able to renew unless all hours  have been uploaded to the RELMS renewal system.  For questions, please contact the Division at (801) 530-6747 or visit their website at www.realestate.utah.gov.

    DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

Throughout the course of your career, you will likely work with buyers and sellers of many different backgrounds. As a REALTOR® sworn to uphold a strict Code of Ethics, you must treat all clients equally, regardless of their race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity. The REALTOR® commitment to diversity and equality is perhaps the strongest in real estate, even going a step farther than the federal Fair Housing Act, which does not include sexual orientation and gender identity as protected classes against housing discrimination.

    Why Diversity?
In order to be a strong voice for real estate in our communities, diversity in our leadership can help our associations represent all the communities and demographic groups in our market area. Making sure our association reflects and includes leaders who serve all parts of our market will make our associations better advocates for homeownership and private property rights. It will build our commitment to ethics and make sure our association is meeting member needs regardless of the communities they serve.
